Happy Memorial Day weekend!
I loooooved this four-day break from work. The weather was the hottest it’s been since we moved here; it hit 101° on Saturday afternoon! Needless to say, I spent some time at the pool to cool off.
I met a new friend at the pool this weekend while I was getting my bronze on. In between all of the sweating and the chatting we spent about three hours outside and I got burned pretty badly. I thought my SPF 15 would be OK… and it was not.

To protect my poor skin I spent most of Sunday inside or out on the deck with our new patio furniture doing some wedding research. At least I could enjoy the beautiful sunshine and keep myself in the shade.
